Want to work in private practice, but don’t understand credentialing, billing, finances, or how to set it all up? Or are you not happy at your current workplace due to lack of transparency or shady shenanigans? Avellar Warden Psychological Associates (AWPA) is an outpatient psychotherapy practice located in the heart of the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We are led by two seasoned, highly ethical psychologists who love the business side of running a profitable private practice. When you join us, we will offer business mentoring on all aspects of your professional work, such as how to set up your practice, financial management, quarterly taxes, and other skills not commonly taught in one’s training.

We are currently seeking part- and full-time independently contracted therapists to provide outpatient psychological evaluations and psychotherapy. You will be offered an ongoing stream of clients with a range of presenting concerns, and we will support you to cultivate your own specialized caseload.
